As an Atlanta family and newborn photographer, I love getting to document the 6-month phase as little ones begin to develop new skills and express their personality.

While I'm an Atlanta family photographer, I do occasionally travel to photograph friends in new seasons of life. This session took me to Greenville, SC to photograph Rachel, a sweet friend from my time in nursing school. It was such a fun time getting to know more about what life looks like for her now since being out of school for a few years -- married to her college sweetheart while loving life with Adalee, her beautiful blue-eyed baby girl.

The six-month phase is so fun as babies begin to learn how to sit up and babble and try new foods. They start to discover the sound of their own laughter and how big they can express their emotions. Mom and Dad are their safe space, and they love to imitate sounds and facial expressions. I was honored to be entrusted with preserving this season for Rachel, Luke, and Adalee!
