I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE.

I'm an energetic, compassionate girl, Christ-follower, nursing student, nanny, and frequent iced coffee drinker.
My favorite days begin with quiet mornings. Coffee on the back porch watching the sun rise. A half hour reading my Bible. Sometimes I spend a few minutes journaling. There is just something about the morning rays streaming through the windows that warms my heart. I find joy in these quiet moments doing the simplest of things.
Later in the afternoon, you can almost guarantee that I've got my second cup of iced coffee in hand right before I try to sneak in a quick afternoon nap. As the afternoon sun fades into an evening sunset, I lay aside my busy schedule to finish the day completely focused on my family. Some of my strongest and most delightful family memories come during the last few hours in the evening. Laughing and catching up during dinner around the table. A walk around the neighborhood. A family competition to see who gets to pick the movie for the night. And best of all, family game nights, where the competition increases throughout the evening.
While these are just simple day-to-day things that bring me joy, it took time for me learn this. I have a heart for adventure. As I've grown older, adventure has changed and is not what it use to be. It's so easy to become so busy that you lose focus of the simple things. And I know I'm not the only one! But it's the simple things that mean the most. So now I choose to find adventure in exploring a new park, creating a new piece of art, or cooking that one Pin on Pinterest that has been buried for years. After all, its the little things that matter at the end of the day.
As you can see, family means everything to me. I've been privileged to call Indianapolis my home for the last 20 years with my three sisters and parents. I can remember when I was growing up that once a year we would excitedly get ready for our annual family photos. It was never a question. Our house walls are still to this day covered with many of those annual photos (as well as many embarrassing candids!). But I'm grateful that my mom taught me to take time to remember. And that is my passion behind serving you.
