March 15, 2021 Lifestyle Newborn Session
As an Indianapolis newborn and family photographer, I adored getting to document this new chapter for this beautiful, foster family.
This downtown Indianapolis studio newborn session was a literal DREAM come true for both myself and the Bond family!! Emma and Colin are dear friends of mine from Wisconsin, where they were stationed for Colin's military training, and their story is rather incredible. Emma and I have always dreamed together of the day that I would get to photograph their beautiful family, and just a few days before Christmas we were able to make that happen for them!
Their family is knit together by the strong bond of love, and baby Felicity is the perfect little miracle to add to their story. After battling with infertility for years, the Lord directed their steps to become foster parents. Nate arrived into their home as a troubled toddler just needing to be loved. He is one of the strongest, smartest, and most loving little boys that I have ever met! Lorraina entered their lives just a year later as a teeny, tiny preemie. This little girl is a fighter and has blossomed into such a spunky little girl! While living in Wisconsin, I had the privilege of watching these two often! They quickly stole my heart!! To this day, I still have all of Nate's notes and coloring pages that he gave me. It's so precious!!
During quarantine of 2020, Emma and Colin announced their miracle pregnancy!! Through lots of prayer and big life events, Felicity was born in November around the time of Thanksgiving. Emma is such a stunning picture of motherhood with her three little blessings! Each one has a such a special story of how they have entered their family, and Emma and Colin have fought hard with such grace and love to give these kids the best home. Fostering is not easy. Infertility is not easy. Parenting is not easy. But these two are such amazing testimony's of trusting God's leading. SO incredibly thankful for their friendship!!
