October 10, 2020 Milestone Family Session
As an Indianapolis newborn and family photographer, I am blessed to work with the best families, and for this session it happened to be my cousin's beautiful family.
Despite the rainy weather, this northern Indiana milestone session celebrating Duke's first birthday is so beautiful! Emily is my cousin, and I was privileged to take her maternity photos when she was pregnant with Duke. I was beyond excited when she reached out and asked about me taking a little road trip to come visit and document this important milestone for their family. Duke is the first grand-baby on that side of my family, and he never lacks the attention at our family gatherings! But I mean just look at his big blue eyes and tiny little toes!! Who could say no to that sweet face?! Duke is full of love for exploring and has the cutest little giggle, and I have loved getting to watch him develop into his personality!
We even were able to sneak in some extended family photos at the end with his aunt, uncle, grandparents, and great grandma (which is my Grandma Jean, my namesake). It is such an honor to have been privileged to document not only my cousin's season of pregnancy, but also this important milestone in her little family's life. I believe that your little one's milestones from pregnancy to birth to one year are so important, because while the days may seem slow, the years will fly by.
