As an Indianapolis newborn and family photographer, it was such an honor to document such a big announcement for this family of eleven.
This family session at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, IN was a DREAM!! Vanessa and I had been in contact for about an entire year as we planned this session. We had a consultation appointment where I was able to assist her in choosing outfits and show her different options for wall art. We chose Fort Harrison as the location for their family so that there was plenty of space for their many kids to run around and explore.
The Abu-Sara family was simply just the sweetest to work with!! They were so laid back, and all of the kids were so well behaved. Vanessa is such a beautiful, gentle mother, and her husband connects with the kids so well with his fun personality. You can just tell that the kids adore their amazing parents!! One of my favorite things about my job is getting to take an outside look into how families interact. And I can say that this one was special! It was just so sweet to see how each sibling interacted with each other: the older ones helping the little ones, siblings close in age were inseparable, and then the best part...
Vanessa and her husband had been planning to announce Baby #10 during their session so that I could capture their kids' reactions! We got all the kids lined up with their eyes covered and then had their mom and dad hold up a letter board announcing the exciting news! The older kids read it allowed to the younger kids and it was just the sweetest thing to see each of their individual reactions! I'm so, so thankful to have been trusted with this sweet news!
