February 16, 2021 Carmel Portrait Session
As an Indianapolis photographer, it is always such an honor when another photographer friend trusts you to photograph their family.
This portrait session in Carmel, IN at downtown West Clay was STUNNING!! You will traditionally find me photographing newborns and growing families; however, whenever a close friend asks for a portrait session, I never pass up the opportunity! In this case I was truly honored that my friend, Amanda, asked me to photograph her and her husband while they were in town visiting me. Amanda is a very skilled wedding photographer, business coach, and digital media marketing professor, while her husband serves our country in the military. I just adore these two, and have been so thankful to have been able to witness their love for each other grow throughout the years!
Amanda and Ricky trusted me completely to choose the location, and simply asked that I find something light and airy for Amanda's updated headshots. I found this The Meeting Place, my favorite hidden gem located in West Clay! I always love shooting sessions in Carmel, because of it's classy architecture and amazing restaurants to choose from after sessions. Amanda and Ricky were naturals in front of the camera, and we had such a fun time exploring downtown West Clay! They ordered a three framed prints to create a gallery wall in their living room, and I cannot wait to see the final results!
Enjoy my favorites from this downtown Carmel, IN portrait session!
